"In 1942, Europe remains in the relentless grip of war. Just beyond the tents of the Russian refugee camp she calls home, a young woman speaks her wedding vows. It’s a decision that will alter her destiny…and it’s a lie that will remain buried until the next century."

Learn how to use locally found fresh ingredients that taste good and are good for you!

We will make a modern version of the Korean dish Chap Che utilizing local vegetables and grass-fed beef (or a vegetarian alternative) for an easy and tasty one pot dish with everything you need for a complete meal. *This dish is gluten and dairy free. Plus ways to “healthify” your beverage (with or without alcohol).

By the end of class you will have lunch ready for 3-4 people, knowledge about locally grown vegetables and their benefits plus simple recipes you can try on your own! Bonus, you’ll learn how to make healthier drinks while enjoying one too!

Prices are inclusive of ingredient kit with recipe cards for this dish and other dishes you can make with local ingredients. Additionally, a portion of the ticket price will be donated to a local charity. Delivery of the kit is not included, please coordinate directly with Christina the week of the event. She can be reached on Whatsapp at +639178348858.

*Cooking oil, sesame oil, salt and pepper are required for the class, however, are not included in the kit.

"The memoir of one man’s coming-of-age, set during the twilight of apartheid and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed.

Trevor Noah’s unlikely path from apartheid South Africa to the desk of The Daily Show began with a criminal act: his birth. Trevor was born to a white Swiss father and a black Xhosa mother at a time when such a union was punishable by five years in prison. Living proof of his parents’ indiscretion, Trevor was kept mostly indoors for the earliest years of his life, bound by the extreme and often absurd measures his mother took to hide him from a government that could, at any moment, steal him away. Finally liberated by the end of South Africa’s tyrannical white rule, Trevor and his mother set forth on a grand adventure, living openly and freely and embracing the opportunities won by a centuries-long struggle."
