We're sure most of you will have heard about the fire in Tondo, affecting many at Childreamers, our official charity from last year.

With donations from our ANZA community, our hard-working Charities team went shopping to buy blankets, bedding, mattresses, food, underwear, hygiene kits, diapers, towels, clothes and powdered milk. The volunteers then sorted and packed the shopping and donations, and Aysa, one of our Charities coordinators, visited Tondo several times.

Aysa says: "I got to walk around the area to see where the fire started and all the other areas that got affected. I met some of the family members on the streets with a tent, and people are staying positive and hopeful!

Remy and the team invited the residents of Tondo to visit Childreamers to pick up supplies they needed, and Remy expressed their sincere gratitude to everyone who has helped them out with donations they have been receiving. She said it was the first time someone had given them the things they needed to get by on a daily basis."

Aysa adds: "I'm grateful to everyone who gave money and items to help the community, but most importantly, I'm thankful to all of our members who helped buying, organising, packing and delivering the donations."
